Van Cleef & Arpels Brooch

Set up in 1933 and patented by the jeweller Van Cleef & Arpels, the technique of "Serti Mystérieux" (embedding invisible) allows to set the stones without apparent support. The lapidary run of the grooves in the stones, thanks to which it is possible to slide the stones which are inserted on the rails of metal, and brought into contact against each other.
